How is Rimadyl Chewables Tablets sold?
Rimadyl chewable tablets are sold by prescription only and come in 25mg, 75mg, or 100mg of carprofen per tablet. Each tablet is scored and comes in bottles containing 30, 60, or 180 tablets. Rimadyl tablets are also available individually.
What are the side effects of Rimadyl Chewables Tablets?

Rimadyl is a pleasant reward for most dogs, so they're likely to quickly accept the medication. Rimadyl can be mixed into food or given by hand. Check to ensure that the dog has consumed the entire dose.
Make sure your dog gets the entire dose. Dogs normally eat these tasty tablets without hesitation. As a result, the tablet can be hand-fed or crumbled over the pet's regular meal. By laying the tablet on a hard surface and pressing down on both sides of the score, the tablet may be split in half. Rimadyl is available as a scored tablet. Dosage should be determined in half-dose increments. Approximately 2 hours prior to a surgery, give to control postoperative discomfort. The complete dose can be given all at once or split into two doses of 1mg per pound given twice a day. For dogs, the daily recommended oral dose is 2mg per pound of body weight.
