Overview
For repeated applications, always consult a veterinarian. If ticks are present, make sure the area is fully saturated. Begin by covering the animal's mouth, nose, and eyes for treatment of dogs. A cloth or hand will suffice. Spray the ears, chest, and head until they are wet. After that, massage the product gently into the dog's facial region using your fingertips. Work your way down the body slowly. Spray the neck, midsection, and hindquarters before finishing with the legs. It's fine to spray directly on the dog's skin, and rubbing the hair backward is recommended if the pet has a long coat. To use on a horse, start by brushing the grime and dirt out of the coat. If you're using shampoo to clean the horse's coat first, wait until it's completely dry before applying it. When applying, spray the whole surface of the animal, being careful not to get it in the horse's mouth or eyes. To finish, wipe the hair backwards with a clean soft rag or brush it backwards while spraying. If you're going to use a tack, ensure sure the solution is completely dried first. Always use in a well-ventilated environment for your own safety. Make care to keep the bottle upright during the application procedure for the greatest effects. Apply the solution again if the animal has been out in the rain or has taken a bath. When treating an animal for the first time, administer the solution once a day for two to three days. Reduce usage to once every 5 to 10 days after the insect problem has improved.
