Overview
Use as directed by your Veterinarian. Cisapride can be administered with meals or on an empty stomach; however, some veterinarians prefer it be given about 30 minutes prior to feeding. If you forget a dose, offer it as soon as you remember, unless it’s nearly time for the next scheduled dose. In that case, resume the regular dosing routine and do not give extra medication as double dosing is not recommended. Be sure to wash your hands thoroughly after administering cisapride to your pet.
