Boost your dairy cows’ calcium levels when they need it most. Immediately following calving, cows experience significant calcium loss through colostrum and milk. You can avoid the risk of subclinical hypocalcemia, milk fever and other costly health issues with BOVIKALC® oral calcium boluses. The bolus formulation dissolves completely in the rumen within 30 minutes,1,2 ensuring effective and reliable calcium delivery to help elevate blood calcium levels after calving.
BOVIKALC boluses contain two proven forms of calcium — calcium chloride and calcium sulfate — designed for both rapid and extended absorption. The boluses are fat-coated to make administration easier and safer for your fresh cows and you. Address your cows’ calcium needs, and support smoother transitions and herd performance with BOVIKALC boluses.
